1. Your data stays on your device

Cozy Kitchen is an offline-first web application. Your pantry, recipes, meal plans, budget entries, leftovers and timers are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and never transmitted to our servers. We do not run accounts, analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind. We cannot see, access, or recover your data.

2. Advertising — Google AdSense

Cozy Kitchen is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads. Google and its partners use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

3. Consent (EEA / UK / Switzerland)

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google's certified consent management platform (CMP) collects consent for personalised ads where required by law. You can change your choices at any time via the consent settings shown on the site.

9. South African users (POPIA)

Cozy Kitchen stores your data locally in your browser and does not collect it; advertising partners may process limited data as described in section 2.
